Here is my new post which is an aweber review. Aweber is a very popular email marketing program. While I have used it for one of my other sites I don't use it for cameronpalte.com yet (but I will soon-:).
Anyway, with that I recommend aweber, in fact it's almost a requirement for every single site! Why? Because it allows you to collect people's emails and while their are hundreds of programs out their to do that aweber is one of the best. Registration is easy and simple, and it isn't the easiest but once you create your account you just need to put an opt-in form on your site and you can start collecting emails right away!
Once you collect people's emails you can send them regular emails promoting your site, an affiliate product, or just containing regular information to them. It's great for getting people who originally forgot about your website for something else to come back visiting and 1 dedicated daily visitor to a site is better than 50 one time visitors in my opinion.
Prices for aweber start at $19/month. ($1 for the first month). Once you get a list as it grows you will be charged more and more however you can make more and more money from your list to counter act the increased amount you are charged which results in nice profits for you.
If you want a free version mail chimp is a great resource that's free until you get to 2,000 followers and while it isn't as good as aweber it works. I don't recommend using mail chimp and instead saving up for aweber though because it has a lot of strict rules.
Lastly, I want to give you guys one last piece of advice. Pick a service and stick with it. Switching a service is the number one way to lose the majority of your mail list subscribers which I do not recommend. However, that's all for today!
